Dear Chairman,
I am Li Ming who has lots of creature ideas and strong executive power from Ming Qi Middle School. I recommend myself to be the person holding my school’s 2018 graduating ceremony. Though I am Grade 3, I know many mates from Grade 1 to Grade 3. And I have held the New Year Evening party last year which was praised by teachers and students.
My topic of this ceremony is “Goodbye, Alma Mater, and Goodbye, adolescence.” I plan to use this ceremony to conclude represent 2018th students three years’ life and create an unforgettable memory as a gift in their future life. The holding place will be the school hall because it is the place where accompanies us for three years. The major formal is performance which is acted by school mates. The leading creed of performance is to represent the used school life or unforgettable memory or show your emotions to school. According to my plan, it will be 9 steps. And I will introduce a live show into this ceremony which can make other school mates who can’t came back to watch this ceremony. It can also record the whole beautiful memory. Besides, I want to hold a luck draw part. I will choose 15 lucky people to send our school’s introduction. The show will cost $900 to buy the services and camera. And the luck draw part will use $800 to buy the keepsake. The rest $300 will be used in rewarding the performers.
This is my whole plan and I hope my plan can be adopted. I believe I can present a fantastic ceremony on the stage.

Dear Students’ Union,
I am writing this e- mail to offer some suggestions to improve the quality of our graduation ceremony. Not only should the time be put off, but also the procedure should be changed.
On the one hand, the time for the ceremony is before the college entrance examination, which may influence our study. I strongly propose that the schedule should be put off until the eighth of June. What’s more , it is better to hold the ceremony on 1:00 in the afternoon, which provides more time to enjoy ourselves.
On the other hand, it is highly recommended that we should deliver the diploma between the students’ performances. The reason why it should be taken is that the former of the ceremony is too long and less interesting, if the delivery of diploma is just follow the principal’s address. It is students that will lose some enthusiasum for the ceremony. So we should change the procedure to inspire students’ passion for it. In addition, I think the student representative should express our gratitude to our teachers, who have accompanied us for three years.

I’m Li Ming from Senior 3 Ming Qi Middle School. I’m writing to express my strong desire to host 2018 Graduation Ceremony.
I’m an energetic and active student with initiative. During 3-year school life, I’m involved in different activities and host some important events, such as Art Festival, New Year’s Gala, which has equipped me with rich experience. Besides, I am so grateful to our school that I do want to devote my talent to the most important event for us graduates.
I’ve made a careful plan. The ceremony will be held on June, 15 so that the students can have enough time to relax themselves after Gao Kao. At the very beginning, a video clip will bring us back to our school and make us recall unforgettable school life. After showing the video clip, it’s time for a student representative to make a speech in which we can deliver our gratitude to all the teachers for their unconditional love and help for us. The speech will also deliver our sincere good wishes to our teachers and our school. Next procedure is for our principal. First, she will deliver the diploma to us and take photos with us. Then, we will be looking forward to a very inspiring speech from her. To refresh us, the highlight part, the performance, is coming. During this procedure, the students and teachers will bring us wonderful performance which is sure to lift up atmosphere, leaving us an unforgettable memory.

To those who may be concerned,
I am writing this letter to share with you my suggestions about the graduation programme. As far as I am concerned, it is more reasonable to revise the procedure that put the students' performance at the beginning, then issue the certificate and put the Principal’s Message at last. In addition, it may be better to add the part for student representatives to make a speech. My reasons are as follows.
First of all, let the students' performance as the beginning does beneficial to lift up the atmosphere. Therefore, it provides us with a good mood and leaves a deep impression on us, which can be kept as the unforgettable memories. Then we get the certificate which symbolizes the end of three-year high school life. What’s more, it is of great importance for the student representatives to make a speech so that we students can express gratitude for the teachers who teach us with great patience and give us a hand when we are in trouble. At the end, the Principal’s Message makes a conclusion about our school life as the ending. It is in this order that make the process more appropriate.
I sincerely hope that we can have a wonderful and memorable graduation ceremony. I will be happy if my suggestions do help to you. Thank you for your consideration.

There’s a widespread concern over the issue that the Ming Qi Middle School is collecting the projects of graduation ceremony and will provide the fund of 2000 yuan to the successful project. As a Senior Three student, I am so eager to set out my project and gain the necessary fund to accomplish my dreaming graduation ceremony, which will add a brilliant touch to my school life.
Being one of the most impressive moments in one’s life, the senior high school graduation ceremony should be splendid and meaningful, so if I can get the fun, the first step of my project is to decorate the hall for the ceremony with colorful lights, balloons and some positive slogans, which may cost about 1000 yuan. Not only can these colorful decorations symbolize the graduates’ bright and promising future, but also lay the foundation for a delightful and positive atmosphere.
Besides another main part of my project which cost the left fund is a time capsule to each class. The memorable things during your school life and wishes for the future can be put in it and all of these precious memories will be preserved in the school history museum. It’s not just a special treasure to Alma Mater left by the graduates of 2018, but also a symbol of our high school careers. These time capsules for eight classes which cost 125 yuan each can be opened during the classmate reunion.
In brief, the attractive decorations and creative time capsules activity in my project will surely light up the impressive ceremony. As an experienced event planner, I’ve took active part in the planning of school activities, giving me a lot of confidence in carrying out this project. Dear board of Ming Qi Middle School,
This is Li Ming, a Senior Three student of yours. Having read the announcement, I am writing to propose my plan for the 2018 graduation ceremony.
As an active member of the Student Union, I have hosted several flag raising ceremonies on Mondays. I was also in charge of the students' performance for the art festival this year. So I believe I have the experience needed to carry out my plan for the 2018 graduation ceremony.
Here's an outline of the ceremony plan. The graduation ceremony will be consisted of four parts: a farewell speech delivered by the headmaster, students' performance, a flashback of the past three years and finally the farewell section where students pay their respects to their teachers and everyone gets together to take pictures. The theme will be "farewell, Alma mater", marking the end of students' high school life and the opening of a new chapter.
If I am lucky enough to be chosen to carry out this plan and granted the fund, I can guarantee you that the fund will be used properly. According to my calculation, about 20% of the fund will be used to buy ornaments for the ceremony, and 40% to purchase stage property and costumes for the performance. The remainder of the fund will be kept safely in case of excess usage until the ceremony ends, by then I will return it to the school.
It would be an honor for me if the board were to accept my proposal, for I really hope to do this one last thing for our school before I leave. Thank you for your time and consideration.
