Actually, I am a resident in this neighborhood. In these days, words came that the spare room in front of the building will be reconstructed to make full use of resources for our better living environment, which is inspiring news to me. From where I stand, I prefer the idea of turning it into a tennis court to a parking lot. The reasons are as follows.
In terms of residents’ health, a tennis court is superior to a parking lot by which I mean we can have easier access to a fitness center where not only can amateurs play tennis regularly but office workers can improve their physical quality spontaneously. Besides, in accordance with the call of national fitness program, our estate can feature tennis as major sport, expressing our healthy idea of life and showing our vigor.
When it comes to convenience, compared with a parking lot, only beneficial to drivers, a tennis court brings full convenience to people of all ages, such a handy channel between communities because it is a case in point that friendly competitions can be held to strengthen friendship. By contrast, a parking lot can just leave more cars with a lifeless scene, whereas I could suggest otherwise.
Above all, I do hope that you can accept my suggestion which is also many residents’ expectation. Imaging that in the near future, a great tennis court is vibrant under the sunshine where the taste of happiness is floating in the air.

I am writing this letter to share with you my opinion that the empty land should be rebuilt into a parking lot and to applaud for the potential opportunity you offer for the parking lot. My reasons are as follows.
With the frequent development of the car industry and modern life, in terms of practical use, the local residents will have easier access to their cars if there is a parking lot. Geographically, its much more convenient for the resident to find their car in a specific place, which can relieve the elderly and the disabled of all the trouble when finding the car. Financially, compared with the basketball court, a parking lot can increase the income of the community so that the community can use this money to contribute in more places and.
With regard to influence, constructing a parking lot can have a more wide reaching effect on the local residents. First and foremost, it will be of help to form efficient management. Not only can the parking lot deal with the messy condition in the housing estate, but also it can improve the quality of peoples life.
On the whole, I strongly propose that constructing a parking lot is more necessary. If it is not feasible under the current condition, I totally understand your decision, and sincerely hope that you will take my advice into consideration. Thank you for your time.

Dear Sir,
I’ve heard that either a basketball court or parking lot will be built on the vacant area in the neighborhood where I live. Therefore, I write this letter to share my opinions. I prefer a basketball field, and the reasons are as follows.
As a girl who loves both sports and social activities, a basketball field can perfectly meet my needs. It’s a common knowledge that playing basketball is a team work. If a basketball field is built in the community, residents will have more opportunities to know each other and build a tight relationship, even tighter than friendships which can inspire residents to do sports persistently. Both doing sports regularly and communicating with those who have a close relationship with each other can reduce mental problems. Besides, playing basketball in a specialized field is much safer than jogging along the busy roads.
Now that, the government is calling on citizens to make more use of public transportations and do more sports other than stay at home watching TV or surfing the internet. Building a basketball field instead of a car park matches government’s appeals whose purpose is to build a green city, a city with less pollution and healthier citizens.
In brief, I do wish to have a basketball field in the neighborhood. Thank you for your considering my suggestion.
