The winter holiday is coming! I would like to recommend a book to my classmates to add a colorful touch to the holiday.
The book I want to share is The Person Who Runs after the Kite. It tells a story about two boys who used to be good friends like brothers. However, one of them came to be jealous of the other, because the latter gained more love and admiration from the former’s father. As a result, they broke up. Later, they were separated from each other for years because of a war. What a pity that the envied one died in the war just before the jealous one let go of his hatred and was on his way to looking for the childhood friend.
This book tells me what friendship means and teaches me how to cherish my friends. I’m sure we can find our own “kites” in our heart after reading this book. It may be your parents, your life partners, your friends, anyone you want to protect and cherish.
All in all, I believe this book can bring a warm sense to you during the cold winter. Enjoy it!

As the winter holiday is coming, I’d like to recommend a book entitled Harry Potter to you, which has been popular among people of all ages around the world.
The book tells about a boy named Harry Potter who was accepted by a magic school. He learned a lot of knowledge about magic there, and in the meantime made two best friends. They went through one challenge after another together and finally killed the evil.
I fell in love with this book the first time I read it. Their wonderful and exciting school life fascinates me most. What’s more, Harry Potter’s bravery and wisdom are also the spirit of the book. Most importantly, the epic story teaches you not just magic theories, but how to deal with various problems, relationship with friends and teachers, and the adventure spirit, which Harry Potter, as well as other successful magicians, shows from time to time. They may not be the top students in the school, but they master the practical skills and use them to fight against the evil.
I assure you that this book is well worth reading and you will not put it away before having read it for many times.

The winter holiday is coming. I would like to introduce my favorite movie "Pacific Rim" to you.
Its a movie about the battle between Kaijus and humans. In order to fight against the monsters from the deep hole in the Pacific, people build a battle suit named Jager and start a programme named "Jager Project". There are four Jagers and every Jager needs two partners to control it. The main Jagers owners are a pair of twins, but sadly the elder one is killed in a battle and leaves his little brother Raleigh. Raleigh wants eagerly to revenge and he finally makes it. He and his partners destroy the hole.
I want to recommend this movie because it tells vividly the importance of trust and hope. At first, Chuck does not like Raleigh, but Raleigh saves him still. Later on they work together to destroy the hole. That is because they come to trust each other, or they would not win. Nothing is better than trusting your partner. With trust, people can do everything they want. Another point is about hope. I believe that where there is hope, there is a miracle. If you give up hope, who else can help you? Even if you are in your darkest time, there is always a hope to guide you to the light.

As is stated, “Harry Potter” combines magical elements with human justice. What is important is that it is very easy for you to get addicted to the fabulous books, and it is the most significant reason why I recommend the books to you. Hi Linda! The winter holiday is coming. As I know you so well, you must be looking forward to seeing a film! By no means should you miss “The Pursuit of Happiness”!
It tells a story about a father and his son. Although hurt deeply by life, the father kept loving his son and chasing his dream. There is a scene in the film that I can never forget: The father told his son, “people can’t do something themselves; they wanna tell you that you can’t do it. If you have a dream, just protect it!” This scene is so classic that so many people watching this movie burst into tears at this moment. Furthermore, some background music in this film is fantastic, such as “God Please Don’t Move That Mountain”, which is really touching as well.
After seeing this film, you will realize that everyone should have a dream to pursue and a reason to stand to it. Otherwise, your heart will have no place to perch on. There’s no doubt that “The pursuit of Happiness” can add a brilliant touch to you winter holiday! After all, it is your unique feeling after watching this movie that really matters!

Talking of favorite films, the answers vary from person to person. Some may like science fiction films, while others may love action films. As for me, I would like to recommend a movie called “Victoria”
The film mainly talked about the queen’s growth and the history of the UK. Victoria became the queen at the age of 18. It’s very difficult for such a young girl to become a monarch and rule a country. Luckily, after continuous efforts for years, Victoria led her country to become the most powerful country in the world.
The reason why I recommend this film is that I admire the queen so much. Her elegant behavior and intelligence impress me so much and set an excellent example for me to follow. What’s more, the film is based on the real history so it’s not a tedious way to learn the foreign history. More importantly, the film encourages me to be an outstanding girl like Victoria and never give up when encountering difficulties. For these major reasons, I recommend this film. As a movie enthusiast, I hold the perspective that nothing can be compared, at least to me, with sipping tea, immerged and enveloped in a fabulous movie. With the winter break approaching, I’d like to recommend a movie called “Biri Girl” to you, which will under no circumstances disappoint you.
The movie features a wide range of Japanese celebrities talking about a story based on a true experience of an ordinary girl. As a famous saying goes, “The path to glory is always rugged.” Armed with poor grades, the girl exerted her utmost to climb up the perpendicular cliff and entered one of the top universities in Japan despite the disbelief and laughter showered on her.
It was the process where she endeavored to achieve the goal that impressed me most. By no means shall we neglect the scene that she was admitted to the university, which even made me burst into tears, adding a brilliant touch to my life. Not only did it offer me the courage tomorrow but it also stimulated me not to give up halfway but to pursue our dreams.
To sum up, it’s no exaggeration to say that this movie has no substitute in my heart. It can even be compared to a diamond, glittering in my life, which I no doubt want to share with you.

Harry Porter describes the stories happening to Harry and his friends in the wizard school. They have a good time, but also face a lot of troubles. At last, they beat their enemy.
Harry Porter is such an attractive story that I have read it several times. While you are reading, you can imagine the scenes in the book freely. It will make you feel like you are having an adventure with Harry.
By the way, this series of books have been adapted into movies and they are great as well.
All in all, Harry Porter is totally worth reading.
