Dear Daniel,
The traditional Chinese Mid-autumn festival is around the corner, and in order to help you know more about our customs in the harvest season, I am writing to share with you how we celebrate it.
As far as I am concerned, the Mid-Autumn Festival is laden with elation, reuniting families together. A vast variety of dishes are prepared with a notable refreshment, mooncakes. At the table, the old are always obsessed with telling children the legend about Change, who is regarded as the goddess of the moon as well. It is no exaggeration to say that a majority of Chinese people give priority to their family, and this fact lays a solid foundation for the inheritance of this festival. With the emergence of the gorgeous full moon, fireworks, which look like blossoming flowers, light up the sky, manifesting peoples wish for futures prosperity. In addition, what may make you dwell on its irresistible charm is the distinguished culture heritage called "Dragon dance". Its hard to overstate the fascination that the audience will derive from it.
To sum up, I do hope you will spend the festival with me and I am sure it will be beyond your wildest expectations.
Yours,
Gloria

Dear my friends:

As we all know, the Mid-autumn festival is one of the most magnificent festivals in China for each family to get reunited. At that time, people in China always gather around the table and enjoy the bright moon, which is a symbol of reunion. What we eat at the Mid-autumn festival are called mooncakes. Mooncakes are usually made up of sugar, beans and other tasty materials.
In addition, we can hear the sound of fireworks, which may make you feel scared. But it really represents some wonderful aspirations in people’s hearts. What’s more, the dragon dance can also give you a surprise. You will find it impossible to find such a fascinating performance in any other country. It’s really worth seeing!
In brief, if you want to experience the traditional festival, come with us and you will never regret.

Dear Cathy,
The traditional Mid-Autumn festival is around the corner, and in order to help you know more about our customs in the harvest season, I am writing to share with you how we celebrate it.
The mid-autumn festival is a traditional festival of China, which is usually celebrated in September or October according to the Chinese Lunar calendar. On that day, people usually get together as a means of getting reunited. It’s very wonderful for a family to have dinner together while enjoying the round moon on the sky. What’s more, the famous dessert called mooncake is also a highlight of the dinner. Besides enjoying a fantastic dinner, you can also go outside to see the Dragon dance with exciting music, praying for a better life next year. The fireworks lighting up the sky, pushing the atmosphere to an exciting climax, the expressions on peoples’ faces show that they really enjoy themselves in the festival.
Hope you can come to join us one day!
Best regards,

Dear Mary,
The traditional Chinese Mid-autumn festival is around the corner, and in order to help you know more about our customs in the harvest season, I am writing to share with you how we celebrate it.
On that day, we can see the big round moon in the sky, just like a baby’s lovely smiling face. Because of its round shape, the Chinese think it means reunion. Many people like to see the amazing and vivid dragon dance. While enjoying the show, we can see the brilliant fireworks light up the sky.
We will have a big dinner with our family and friends. It is a special way of enjoying time together. We enjoy the nice taste of the mooncakes, and share joys with each other. At that time, my heart is filled with warmth.
The Mid-autumn festival is a day of pleasure and happiness. I hope that I can spend the festival with you some day.
Yours,
Jenny
