It was a cloudless day. The boy was on his way home as usual. When he passed by a block, he suddenly found that something was going wrong here: endless smoke came out of the window, just like the one curled from the old chimney. It was dense. It must be on fire. The boy thought to himself. Without thinking, he rushed to get a bucket of water as fast as possible. Having exhausted all his energy, he made the water pour into the window surrounded by smoke. Due to that last strength, the fire was put out. It definitely was a historical moment! If I were him, I would also feel like I was the hero who had saved the world. The boy was lost in his sense of accomplishment. A roar of a middle-aged man suddenly broke the silence. The bald man angrily popped out of the window with half of his cigarette. It seems like a drowned rat in bad temper was scolding the boy. The boy had nothing to do but accept it.
Life is like a twist. Sometimes you think you have done a good deed, but what you get is only a basin of cold water.

One day, a little boy was walking down the street. Suddenly, he saw there was heavy smoke coming out of a house’s window. He was startled at first, and then he realized it must be on fire.
So he hurried to get water, trying to put out the fire. The little boy managed to get a bucket, and he filled it with water. It took him a lot of work to get a bucket of water to the house. Without hesitation, he immediately started to pour water through the window, where the smoke came from. At that time, he heard a yelp with an angry old man glaring at him through the window. “I was just using this pipe to smoke! Boy!” The old man waved the dripping pipe in front of the little boy. “I’m sorry, I thought your house was on fire! “The boy said.
The old man eventually forgave the boy. He also told the boy to always think before he acts.
高三（4）班 朱芮泠
One day, the son walked back home from school as usual. Suddenly, the air was filled with a strange smell and heavy smog coming from his home. “OH my god! What’s going on? “The son almost cried out and ran to home as fast as he could .So astonished and anxious was he that he was at a loss what to do. After thinking for a while, a good idea came to him that he could get some water to put out the fire, which he learnt in a public security lesson. Luckily, there was a car washer around the corner. He ran to it and back in no time, with a bucket of water in his hand. Even though a bucket of water was too heavy for such a thin child, he also tried his best to hold it up and dump edit. “I should save my father!” He thought to himself. Gradually, the smog and pungent smell disappeared, which implied that everything returned to silent .Suddenly, an angry voice came into his ears. “It is far more than a joke, son! See the mess you made!” His father appeared beside the windows with the dropping water. He looked down and saw a cigarette in his fathers hands, which might cause the misunderstanding." Maybe, I had better work out a way to escape right now.” The son thought to himself.
高三（7）班 张珉
When Little Bill was on his way home with joy, he suddenly saw smoke surging from the window of a house. The chocking smoke was so frightening that the little boy ran as fast as he could to call for help. Since there was no fire hydrant nearby, he went across three blocks and finally borrowed a bucket of water in a flower shop. Running back with a heavy metal bucket out of breath, the little boy made every effort to pour the water into the window. The smoke began to disappear and Little Bill gave a relaxed gasp. “Oh my God!” a fat aged man looked out at Little Bill from the window, “Good boy! Look what you’ve done! I’ve just smoked a pipe!” “Oh, I’m terribly sorry, Sir! But I …” Little Bill stood there, tongue-tied.

It was an exhausting day at school. As Jack skidded down the street on his way home, thinking about the loads of homework he would have to deal with, he saw some thick black smoke drifting out of a window. As he got closer, Jack found that it was his house, which seemed to be on fire. In panic, Jack ran away to find a bucket and filled it with water. When he was rushing back to the smoking house, he could think of nothing but that dad must be at home and that he must be in danger. Jack held his breath at the choking smoke and yanked the bucket of water through the smoking window with all the force he could gather. Almost instantly, the smoking stopped. Relieved that he prevented a horrible disaster, Jack was pleased to find dad unharmed except for the water dripping all over him when he leaned out of the window with a pipe in hand. Oddly, dad looked rather annoyed. "You ruined my suit, boy! Cant you see I was only smoking? Use that brain of yours.” Dad scolded. It wasnt until then did Jack realize the smoke didnt come from a fire, but dads pipe. "But Dad should have quit smoking a long time ago." Jack thought to himself, frowning.

Today is Fancys birthday. “Im so excited! Its my birthday today. What kind of gift will I receive? Maybe a fragrance? Or a necklace? I cant wait.” Suddenly, the doorbell rings. “Just on time!” Fancy goes off into wild flights of fancy. “Im coming, my dear friend!” Fancy quickly opens the door with a big smile which shows the warm welcome to her friends. But surprisingly, its a stranger. “Sorry, but I really need to use your washroom now!” The stranger dashes into Fancys house. “How could that have happened?” Fancy yells furiously.

Today is Fancys birthday. “Who will give a gift to me?” Fancy wears a big smile on her face, waiting at home with great expectation. Suddenly, someone knocks loudly at the door. Fancy is so excited that she runs towards the door immediately. As soon as she opens the door, a friend of hers rushes in, shouting “My bladder is bursting. I have to use your toilet!” That really makes Fancy so disappointed and angry.

Today is Fancy’s birthday. She hops happily around the house. “Today is my birthday. There must be someone who is willing to send presents to me.” She thinks excitedly with a bright smile on her face. “Ding Dong, Ding Dong” the doorbell rings suddenly. “Open the door!” Someone shouts loudly outside. Fancy is looking forward to the gift so desperately that she can’t help dashing to the door. “What kind of present will it be?” However, when she opens the door only to find it is Danny. “Im about to pee myself. I have to use your toilet.” This makes Fancy very annoyed and depressed. She shuts the toilet door violently and shouts at Danny, “Get out, now!”
